In the interest of consistency and safety, The Kurt Caselli Foundation, with the help of many desert racing clubs and racers of all skill levels, has developed a Course Marking Guide.
The Kurt Caselli Foundations recommends using neon pink cards for the adult course in a 3-2-1 countdown for turns based off of severity. We also highly recommend marking with flagging ribbon anywhere you mark cards in case cards are taken away by weather.

The pink course marking arrows are quite visible in both shadows and bright sunlight. They are also quite well made and we should be able to use most of them at least twice.
