In the interest of consistency and safety, The Kurt Caselli Foundation, with the help of many desert racing clubs and racers of all skill levels, has developed a Course Marking Guide.
The Kurt Caselli Foundations recommends using Blue cards to denote danger in a 3-2-1 countdown based off of severity. We also highly recommend marking with flagging ribbon anywhere you mark cards in case cards are taken away by weather.

Tim Scott The blue signs are nice way to mark dangers. Sometimes day glows are used for road crossings with X’s on them. This is a very clear way to mark instead of day glows.
